I did not know of NHS until I have received the form telling me about NHS and how i'm accepted into it. If have received it later I wouldn't have made it due to having no community service hours. After reading it and showing it to my parents, I have learned this could be important for me.

NHS or National Honors Society is an organization made to recognize high school students doing very well in school. NHS especially recognizes the high schoolers exceeding in performance with scholarship, service, leadership and character. I believe that NHS is a dedicated student friendly society with set standards that will help others with their future and present life.
