A member of NJHS needs to possess many traits that show kindness, responsibility, adaptability, cooperativeness, and charm. Some traits that I possess include: optimistic, productive, confident, passionate, etc. I possess optimism because I push through adversities while thinking ahead and making what I have, into what’s next. I have shown this many times throughout my life, but the most notable to me is when I was in a very bad slump playing soccer for my team. I couldn’t help my team whatsoever, and I was in and out of confidence. I would make mistakes during practice and get really down on myself. One day, I started to think that I was fine, the mistakes didn’t matter. I got out of my slump and started to play well again. I show optimism
