The Constitution is the guiding compass which must be uses as the primary resource when handling the controversy that has risen with the newly admitted Muslim coalition. The Constitution will address and settle any ominous decisions regarding the free speech and civil liberties commotion, which that has surfaced society now that these refuges have been granted citizenship. Recurring to The Constitution will ensure that I as President of The United States embrace the responsibility to legally assure all Americans have a safe platform to share their values and practice their beliefs. Soda. This court case regarded a limitation imposed on soda size by the New York government. The legal grounds on which it stood where not strong enough when contested with The Constitution. It was therefore shut down because it was deemed unconstitutional, and seen as a form of over regulation on behalf of the New York government. This case mirrors the current event circulating society; the government cannot tell people what to believe or even so what to drink, there are set boundaries within their power. This case set a precedent on restricted individual freedom. This court case is not the only event in which such actions have been brought into perspective, Lawrence Vs. Texas is another example of the type of infringement on liberty that the government should avoid at all cost.
