The Palestinian people in the homeland and the diaspora are commemorating the anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe) of 69 years ago, at the hands of the Zionist gangs, in which more than 80% of historic Palestine was raped. It coincides with a heroic battle being waged by the prisoners inside the occupation prisons. Of the prison and in light of the repeated Israeli violations against our people and holy sites, and the continuous settlement incursion into the Palestinian land, amid talk of international moves to liquidate the Palestinian cause and waive legitimate rights.

The term "Palestinian Nakba" refers to the great tragedy that Palestine experienced in 1948. This term is associated with a human tragedy in which large numbers of Palestinian people were displaced and their cities, villages, lands, and homes were taken away from their homes.

The Nakba of Palestine was a process of ethnic cleansing, destruction, expulsion of an unarmed people and the replacement of another people with its place, as a result of human plans and the complicity of Stated. The events of the Nakba of Palestine and the subsequent displacement caused a great tragedy for the Palestinian people and the displacement of some 800,000 Palestinians From their villages and towns to the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and the neighboring Arab states, as well as the displacement of thousands of Palestinians from their homes, even though they remained within the territories under Israeli occupation, out of the 1.4 million Palestinians who lived in historic Palestine in 1948 in 1300 Palestinian village and city.

According to documented data, during the Nakba period, the Israelis controlled 774 villages and towns, destroying 531 Palestinian villages and towns. Israeli forces committed more than 70 massacres and massacres against Palestinians, resulting in the deaths of more than 15,000 Palestinians during the Nakba
