In 1942, the first Napalm bomb was made in a secret laboratory at Harvard University, It was made of accessible resources, used for destroying lives, and caused mass damage to innocent lives. This bomb was made to destroy buildings efficiently. The inventor never expected the government to use their creation to harm society. Napalm has reachable ingredients, it has destroyed villages and entire lives.

Napalm has many effective and easily secured components. According to the article Napalm Toxicity, “Napalm compositions. include Aluminum salts, Polystyrene, and Benzene.” These items are not difficult to find but are extremely dangerous. The article Napalm informs us that Napalm is “named for naphthenate and palmitate,.the gelling agent” This gelling agent helps the fire, that comes from the bomb, stick and spread to any surface, such as human bodies and buildings. The article Napalm Toxicity revealed, “Increased viscosity allows the ignited liquid to maintain a direct stream. allowing for its use in military flamethrowers.” This tells us that the military has used Napalm in flamethrowers, which can cause a body to burn almost twice as fast as a bomb would.
