As the headlights of her car lit up her living room window, she could just barely make out the outline of someone in her dining room. Her hands began to tremble. Who is in my apartment and how did they get in? She was about to grab her cell phone and call the police when she noticed a familiar car parked in the spot next to her. She knew that she had seen that car before, but couldn’t place it. She slowly got out of her car and headed for her apartment. Before she had a chance to completely open her door, she heard a familiar voice come from the area of her dining room table. Her heart froze, there sitting at the table was Deaglan. Ciara just stood in the doorway in shock. What is he doing here and why does he have keys to my apartment? “Come in and have a seat,” Deaglan said as he motioned for her to sit next to him. She cautiously walked over, set her things on the table and sat down. “I see that your meeting this evening was cancelled,” he said to her with a fiendish grin. Ciara’s heart dropped. How did he know I was meeting with Killain, let alone anyone? Was he responsible for his death? All she could manage to do was slowly nod her head. “Since you are free now, I am taking you to dinner and a show. I placed an appropriate dress on your bed. As she walked out her door, she saw a black stretch limo waiting for her. Normally, this would excite her, but she knew who was waiting for her inside.
