“Can I get a blueberry danish?” Nino asked rather loudly, his eyes flicking to the door behind Marinette that lead straight to Alya. Marinette smiled as she placed two danishes into a bag, knowing Nino would save one for Alya (or just for the chance to show up at her house randomly, you never knew with Nino). She held the bag out for Nino to grab, but he was too busy texting someone to notice.
“Uh, Nino?” She prodded, standing on her tip-toes in order for her to reach further toward him. Nothing, no response whatsoever. “Nino.” She tried again, a bit louder, this time she was successful, the boy looked up and snatched the bag with a smug smirk on his face.
“Thanks Marinette, good luck.” He said before swaggering out of the shop, his smug attitude radiating off him in waves. What had him in such a good mood? …show more content…
Her mind was running a ill ion miles an hour, of all the different things that she could do to keep the little ball of energy entertained. The Park suddenly became a very good idea, “Hey Alya!
