Christina Walker was waiting in a girls locker room in Wisconsin for her daughter, Mia, to finish changing after her school swim team practice.
The mom was sitting on a bench when a glare coming out of a locker caught her eye, according to Inside Edition, and luckily, she went to see what it was.
Christina's curiosity was all caught on camera because the glare she noticed was really a hidden camera placed in a locker, recording all of the females undressing, and it even captured the moment the mom discovered it on tape.
The camera was running inside the Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, recreation center for four months without anyone knowing, except for whoever used it stare at naked girls who didn't know they were being watched.
The mom told Inside Edition:…show more content… I was just in shock. Absolute shock.”
Mia's mom was shocked when she realized someone had been making victims out of innocent girls changing in the locker room and she was disgusted when police captured the person who did it.
Another mother, Melissa Wenckebach was the one who planted the camera. The video showed her taking the time to meticulously adjust it to get the perfect view of the naked girls.
Christina said:
“I just thought, ‘How could a mom do this to another mom?’”
Wenckebach admitted through her tears that she was the person who planted the camera to record the girls undressing, and she added a disturbing twist to her confession.
The mother claimed she was told to place the camera in the locker room by the Karl Landt, the man she was having an affair with, as a perverse way for him to get his kicks. Wenckebach explained:
“He just liked looking, Like it didn’t hurt anybody."
Officers discovered Landt had over 20,000 hours of the videos after Christina found the hidden camera.
Christina said:
“It was like organized crime. Like they had a system."
Landt was given a 12-year sentence while Wenckenbach was sentenced to six years for her part in the
