When NFL players refuse to stand during the National Anthem, their protest is ineffective. There are better ways to show the world their views than that.
Some veterans believe the National Anthem protests are disrespectful, and the athletes should pick a more civil way to protest.

The highly esteemed Olympic games do not let the athletes show their political standpoint anywhere at the Olympics, which shows that all sports leagues should not allow players to show their political views.
The NBA does not let athletes disrespect the anthem.
