Throughout all three years of my high school career, I have demonstrated scholarship, leadership, character, and service. I believe because of all my experiences with the four pillars demonstrated by National Honors Society members, I will be the perfect candidate. Scholarship has always been one of the most important aspects of my life, even from a young age. I achieved a principal's list last year and have achieved honors every other year during my time in high school. I also take two advanced placement classes and one honors course to challenge myself academically and force me to put as much work as I can into my academics. My leadership skills and experience prepare me perfectly to be a member of the National Honor Society. I have participated in multiple community service opportunities, especially at Monroe Township High School. Giving back to my community has also been a major part of my life; for example, when I was a child I would help my mom set up fundraisers for foster kids and give them all of my old clothes. The feeling of helping someone or something who is less fortunate than you is a feeling that no other experience could match. While in high school I gave out candy to kids during a high school run event in which my club had a station. I also participated in two unified events, where I worked alongside high school students with special needs in helping elementary school students work through various fun and creative activities. I also did two unified sports where I helped special needs students learn fundamental skills through a sport. Being community service is such a crucial part of my life, I believe I will fit in perfectly with the morals and values of the National Honor
