The National Junior Honor Society is a great opportunity for me. I am excited to make new friends, share my ideas and interests, become more involved in our community, and learn new leadership skills. During middle school, I have demonstrated the NJHS attributes of service, leadership, scholarship, citizenship and character in the community and at Laurel Ridge Middle School.
I love to help those in need and have participated in many service projects. For example, my friends and I helped the Sherwood Helping Hands by hosting a canned food drive. Together, we gathered over 500 cans. I also participated in Calling for Kids helping the Sherwood Education Foundation collect donations for Sherwood schools. Currently, I am knitting hats to donate
