Native Americans’ lives were changed forever once the European colonists colonized North America. They experienced the loss of culture and land, diseases, starvation, and slavery. Many years after the colonists' settlement in North America, they destroyed the tribes’ communities and homes. The answer to why those colonists harmed the Native Americans, who helped them when they needed support during their exploration period in the new land, is that those people were blinded by greed. Greed can be described as the desire for more wealth, power, or resources than one needs; it has become a driving force behind countless conflicts. Human nature includes a multitude of strengths and weaknesses, but the biggest flaw of the human species is greed.
