Missing: Indigenous Imagery in Pop Culture.
Contemporary Native American’s are often missing in pop culture, dating back centuries. America has relied on inaccurate historical documents that were embellished by white colonizers that depict Native Americans as the “noble savage.” This causes Indigenous culture to be represented in popular media through dated information and harmful stereotypes.
