We never seem to learn about history no matter how many classes are taken, books are read, movies watched; because we are only told what the winner wants us to hear. It seems like Americans seem superior and anything different from them causes fear and has to be controlled “…efficiently destroy the culture of the Sioux and replace it with the white man’s civilization.” (Brown 426).
