Nazi in America “Nazi America: A Secret History” is a film about how Nazism spread to America during the reign of Adolf Hitler. Hitler wrote a best seller while he was in jail, and this helped start if movement of Nazism. Blaming the Jewish people for Germany’s problem and to make Germany a force again. People in Germany were looking for jobs and sustainability for themselves, and when Adolf offered that, people listened and joined. In the book “Racism without Racist” the author talked about how people thought they lost or didn’t get a job because of a minority. Saying that an unqualified minority received a job that they should have gotten, but the author would point out is that these people did not know the qualification of the minorities that won the job. They were just assuming this because they already felt entitle, and that the jobs should be given to them. Adolf Hitler feed off of this. He would give young men jobs in the military. This helped improve Germany’s economy because people had jobs in the military. They had a ways to have a stable life. You see in the movie that …show more content…
They wanted to have a better life. During this time, America was coming out of the Great Repression. When these immigrants came and brought Nazism, Germans and other Americans joined Hitler’s ideology because they felt that would help them more then the American government. They blamed the Jews for the problems and brought that mindset to America. The in the book “Racism without Racist” cause what the book coined “new racism”. This is when the Germans had neighborhoods and excluded the Jewish people. They did not want them in their cities, business, and with their kids. They had camps for their own kids to learn Nazism, and camps to be around fellow Nazism. It still is around today. These people segregated themselves from other ethnicities.
