Your Inner Fish: Chapter One “Your Inner Fish” is an incredible attempt at demonstrating the roots of ours roots, essentially showing how there may just be a reason behind cousin Vinny’s fish-like face. The novel is narrated by Neil Shubin, a renowned fish paleontologist. Ironically, the story doesn’t begin in some archeological dig. In fact, for Neil, it begun when he took over the anatomy course at the University of Chicago. His notice of similar anatomical structures throughout animals and humans would become the foundation for this book.
