1 Season after coming off a 10-6 Record and barely missing the playoffs. The New York Jets are not looking like the same ole Jets. After cleaning house and assembling a whole new organization, with New Scouts. The Jets have strengthened their roster even more. No more sitting on Cap money. They have used every penny they could to contend in 2016.

Let's start with their 2016 Draft. With their first pick, Instead of picking QB Paxton Lynch which everyone figured the Jets would do. The Jets drafted a Position that was desperately lacking speed. Selecting Hard Hitting and Fast OLB , Darron Lee. Lee who played for National Champions Ohio State Buckeyes. Raised Eyebrows at this years N.FL. Combine by Running the 40 in 4.47 seconds. The Jets have Brought back their ALL PRO DL Muhammad Wilkerson and also brought back QB Ryan Fitzpatrick who had a career year last year with the Jets. Both of these signings took awhile but they got done. Who they lost in Free Agency, was NT Damon Harrison who was a Major run stopper. Replacing him the Jets brought in NT Steve McLendon. The loss of Harrison will be felt a little against the run. But the Jets still have one of the Best Defensive Fronts in the League with Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson and 2nd year pro Leonard Williams. At RB, the Jets decided to not sign RB Chris pryor who had a 1k yard season but showed he could not last the full 16 game schedule with the Power he ran with. The Jets replaced him with Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte. Signing him to a 3 year deal. Forte has been 1 of the leagues most durable and reliable Running Back in the league for years but finally did suffer an injury late last year which held him out a few games. The Jets hope he can continue being a top 10 RB. A RB Who can run but can also excel catching passes out of the backfield.n Him and Bilal Powell if they stay healthy all year, will be weapons that Ryan Fitzpatrick can note lose with.
