Musician are writing body positivity songs but they generally promote one type of body frame.Nicki Minaj’s song “Anaconda” and Meghan to love their body and Trainor’s song “All that Bass” are both about female’s size and weight. The songs basically say how skinny women are considered inadequate and how males like women with curvier bodies. These lyrics could make some females feel that their not good enough or they aren’t as attractive as curvy women. Personally, I don’t have a problem with these phrases because they are not directed at one particular, but some people feel that they just plain rude.
