I exited my patrol vehicle and approached Cpt. Bittner as he was inside already. Upon entering the vestibule area, I observed a large number of intoxicated persons trying to get back inside after they were already told to leave. I also observed several small fights just inside the doorway and heard a lot more commotion just inside of the bar. I started to escort patrons out through the main door when I was pushed my several intoxicated patrons attempting to get back inside of the bar. Clements struggling with another male who was now resisting arrest. After Sgt. Clements guided him to the ground, I assisted with placing him into handcuffs. After that male was placed under arrest, I escorted him to my patrol vehicle. The male was asked if he had any injuries on scene, which he replied, “Yea, my face is all scratched up” and began to point to his left side of his face, however, the scratch was on the right side of face on the cheek. At this point, several responding towns were on location and helping to disperse the large crowd. After police gained control of the situation, Cpt. Bittner advised everyone via radio to stand by your vehicle if someone is under arrest inside it.
