Activists That Use Non-Profit Organizations Did you know that many activists have created non profit organizations? That is right. Many activists make non profit organizations to give money, food, and education to those in need. Knowing about activists can inspire people to donate to organizations because you now know how they meet other people's needs. Three activists, Christopher Yao, Daniel Kent, and Dylan Mahalingam, use non profit organizations to promote their cause. Christopher Yao is an activist that uses a non profit organizations. After he was diagnosed with an under-jaw bite, it helped him understand other children battling illnesses and instead of feeling sorry, he was inspired to create Kids Change the World. Kids Change the World is a non profit organization that gives money for people to have a healthier life. He also volunteered in the smile for our lives that donates money for cleft surgeries. He also encourages kids to start their own programs in their communities (complex.com). He is now leading in the nonprofit sector (Kids change the world.com). He is considered an activist because his organization funds people so that they can afford medical treatment. When Daniel Kent grew up, he had an interest in tech at an early age. He became motivated when email became in fashion so that Daniel Kent would also get his interest in internet. Net Literacy is a organization that teaches education and works on computer safety. He also says that “As students do the volunteering, they learn job skills, life skills, and serve their own communities”. His organization had donated over 40,000 computers (net literacy.com) and is internationally supported by 270,000 (cb.com) internet companies. This shows how Daniel Kent is an activist in non profit
