Northern Snakehead The northern snakehead is an invasive species that is from China, North Korea and southern Siberia. The northern snakehead fish is a fish that can walk on land and can also breathe in the air around us so that is pretty cool. The northern snakehead is so hard to get out of lakes and rivers because the reproduce really fast and most people just go fishing for it so not alot of people are killing it the bad thing about how people are not killing it is because the northern snakehead eats all of the mini microscopic organisms that the native fish rely on to survive which kills other fish that are actually supposed to be there then the food chain gets all messed up and other fish and under water creatures get either wiped out
