The college I have chosen to go to is Northwestern Oklahoma State College. It is located at Alva, Oklahoma which is about four hours from Sallisaw. I chose this college but it offered my major, Resident Nursing. It has beautiful sceneries and it is located in a rural area. I enjoy living in the countryside because it has less traffic jam and refreshing air breeze. Northwestern has about 2,136 enrollment students and in total population of Alva, there is about 5,031 people living there. It’s a little bit smaller than Sallisaw but with such a small town, I find it easier to meet and know all of the people living there. I found the campus setting the perfect place for me to live at.
The high school requirements for attending Northwestern is at least a 2.7 GPA and at least placed in top 50% of your school, which is no worry for me. Units and courses requirements are: 4 English courses, 3 Lab Science courses, 3 Mathematics courses, 3 History and Citizenship Skills courses,

For tuition, about $5,737.50 is the cost. The book fees are estimated to be around $1,200.00. The housing fee depends on what type of housing you live in; Semi Private Room: $1,780 per year, Private Room: $3,150 per year, and Regular Room: $4,480.00. For you meal plans, it cost about $2,700 for 15 meals and about $2,500 for 10 meals. In total, it’s about $14,200 per year to attend at Northwestern.
There are many campus activities and opportunities at Northwestern. The clubs that I am interested in currently is: Bible Chair, Nursing Honor Society, Social Workers, Association of Tomorrow (SWAT), Student Nurses Association, CORE - Conserving Our Ranger Environment, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Herd, Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, and Delta Zeta Sorority. Most of them are religious and mainly volunteering working clubs because I would like to be active as much as I can be during
