The U.S. depends on migrants because they are critical to fulfilling the mass amounts of diverse occupations in the U.S., and are vital to America's society and work force. The amount of foreign scientists mentioned (40%) suggest that migrants benefit America's social hierarchy as they increasingly accede to higher and more valuable professions. My Ideas:
The lack of migrants in the U.S. would severly reduce the quality and quantity of filled positions in the today's current jobs. Migrants are basically the backbone of today's society and without their help in the societies of our countries, the U.S.'s economy would fall due to the lack of workers, leading to the decline of productivity. Ironically, migrants benefit the the income of natives through a complementary procees that involves natives to occupy jobs that require manual skills, while the natives are forced to occupy more complex and skilled jobs. This causes the natives slary to augment and increase drastically. My Ideas:
