In this activity, I was in charge of crimping the cables, following some important steps. First, I began by preparing the cables, cutting them to the required size for installation with an appropriate crimping tool. Next, I carefully removed the outer jacket of the cable, being careful to avoid damaging the internal wires. Once the internal wires were exposed, they needed to be organized according to the crimping standard used, which was T568A. The wire order inside the RJ45 connector is crucial to ensure proper network functioning. With the wires correctly organized and inserted into the correct positions within the connector, I used the appropriate tool to secure the wires to the connector. Then, I conducted tests to ensure the cable's functionality, using a network cable tester to check for possible connection failures or short circuits. This step ensures that the crimping is done correctly and that the cables are ready for use. These steps are essential to ensure the proper functioning of network cables, while maintaining communication
