• Open the case (remove thumb screws on the back, slide the side panels off).
• Open up motherboard and take out the I/O shield (plate that covers the ports on motherboard) and find the big space on the back of the case, snapping it into place (make sure all 4 sides are securely in place before continuing).
• Place motherboard on the bottom of case so that the ports line up with the I/O shield.
• Note where screw holes match up with the screw holes on the case. Empty out your case’s bag of screws and find the stand offs. Screw those to the bottom of case where motherboard holes match up. Then set up motherboard on top of them. Then lastly screw motherboard into place by screwing motherboard screws into standoffs (you may look into the case’s manual to figure out which screws to use here). …show more content…
Install Processor
• Carefully remove processor from the box, and look for the corner of the processor with the gold arrow. Line this corner up with the corner of the processor socket that also has an arrow on it.
• Lift the lever on the socket, slide processor into place, pull lever back down.
• Grab CPU cooler that came with processor.
• Set heat sync on top of processor.
3. Install RAM
• Open RAM; pull levers on side of socket down. Lineup ram so notch of ram stick matches up with that of the socket. Press it into place.
4. Install PCI Cards
• Find top-most PCI slot that fits your video card and match it to its plate on the back of the case
• Remove that plate (may require some screwing)
• Slide edge of video card into open slot (should line up with socket)
• Screw the plate back in
5. Install Hard Drive
• Slide in hard drive into the hard drive bay (method of installation may vary)
6. Install Optical Drive
• Take front plate off bay
• Slide it
