I would be very honored to receive this scholarship. As a child, I grew up with a single mother, who still provides for both me and my brother. If I were to get this award, this would be a financial relief on her part. If I were to receive this scholarship this would help me achieve my goals of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I have given back to my community throughout my middle school and high school career and I would like to continue giving back in my adulthood years through my chosen occupation. As a student, I've worked very hard and diligently to be where I am today academically. I've managed to maintain A's and B's throughout high school while working at Walmart myself. Working while in school has been very challenging
