Nursing is a dynamic, continuously evolving entity, changing and adapting in response to a comprehensive range of stimuli, for an example (from the very beginning of time of Nightingale Florence to modern nursing period). Changes in societal norms, treatment plans, adapting new trends of technical systems, all these have helped to shape the contemporary nursing practice in all over the world. Our group task helps us to think more creative and big. Then after class discussion, I learn how to think out of box. Over here, I want to emphasize that it is very difficult task for a leader to manage his/her group members if he is not aware and does not know how to manage culture and cultural conflicts. Now, a question arises in my mind, is leadership closely related to culture and how leaders can effectively create and embed culture in a group. Here is my personal research on these questions. To begin a process within a group, it is very important for a leader to trace the values and beliefs of a group. This is very important to avoid conflicts. As a leader of a group, a person must know how to operate internally and externally. For an example, when I start working back in India in a hospital, I was complete unaware as it was a new environment for me. A nurse senior as a group leader makes me aware of my group members and how to work easily and comfortably with them. So, this orientation of group members and hospital settings make me comfortable to work with other members of a group. A Nurse leader must know these things so that she/he can make a new entrée aware of group members from different cultures in terms of practice too. This is betterment for an effective group
