Odysseus Heroic Characteristics

In the epic poem “The Odyssey” by Homer, Od Odysseus, Penelope, and Telemachus all exhibit heroic characteristics, but in different ways.

Odysseus is known for his physical strength, intelligence, and bravery in facing numerous challenges on his journey home. The text states, “True, but time and again Odysseus turned his face toward the radiant sun, anxious for it to set, yearning now to be gone and home once more....” (13. 31-33). The aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid aforesaid This piece of evidence shows that Odysseus is on his way home. “...first they lifted Odysseus off the decks--linen and lustrous carpet too- and laid him down on the sand asleep, still dead to the world....” (13.132-134).
