Odysseus’ faithfulness during the time he was with calypso making him unable to show anyone how he can stay faithful to his people and show he is not a hero. Odysseus’ journey leads him to the invisible island that was Calypso’s. This is where Calypso held Odysseus captive for 7 years. On his journey, after all his men have been killed, he stops at an island which happened to be calypso’s island where calypso hasn't seen a man in very long time. when Odysseus stays with calypso he proved he was unfaithful and he could have tried to leave but he didn't for a while. Odysseus is too unfaithful to be a hero because he stays with calypso and would show that he wouldn't be able to stay true to the people of Ithaca.
Odysseus’ was too prideful to keep
