What can make someone a good leader in the face of danger? It can be staying calm or being level headed in the most dangerous moments. These traits are shown in The Odyssey by Homer. While on a journey home, Odysseus is challenged by the gods in many ways. First, Odysseus goes to help his crew that has been changed into animals. Second, Odysseus’s crew is facing the Scylla, and Odysseus keeps his crew calm. Therefore, Odysseus is a good leader in the face of danger. In the Odyssey, Odysseau is a good leader in the face of danger. After encountering many dangerous events with his crew, he has shown the ability to keep himself and others calm and level headed no matter what. Odysseus fights the witch Circe

The 'Standard' of the 'Standard'. This shows Odyssues’s traits of being a good leader, with him being able to keep himself level headed even when he's alone. And against a witch with magic who can turn him into a pig, but he does not falter. Odysseus also managed to keep his crew calm and composed when they were faced with the scilla, giving a speech “Friends, have we never been in danger before this? More Fearsome, it is now, then, when Cyclops penned us in his cave? What power he had!/ Did I not keep my nerves, and use my wits to find a way out for us?”(Homer 12. 144-148. He also was aware of the scilla but did not inform his crew in hopes of not frightening them and they could move forward without wavering. These things show he is a good leader when faced with danger. In the end,
