Clearly, George and Lennie from Of Mice and Men demonstrates mutualism. For example, Lennie benefits from from his relationship with George. George tells slim “So we sat in a irrigation ditch under water all the rest of that day”, because was trying to explain how he had got lennie out of a situation that could've got him lynched(Steinbeck 42).
