After finishing the rest of The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, Or Gustavus Vassa, I honestly found the second and third chapter of the reading to be more interesting than the first chapter. These new chapters go in depth of how Equiano’s experiences in slavery, which was pretty upsetting. He, along with his sister, was kidnapped from their home at such a young age and had his freedom taken from him when he was sold into the control of a white master in an unknown world. In addition, not only was he taken from his own parents, but also his sister. It was very brave for him to write about this traumatizing moment. It was also obvious that he wanted to show to the public of the atrocious things that occur to the people of
