Introduction
Old station flying club has been hosting a legendary events from many years in Australia history. It Old Station Fly In show is one of the very popular air shows held around the country and is the display and portrayal of country Australia hospitality at its best. For our case of The Old Station Flying Club, we do need only a quantities analytical survey.
• After deciding the type of questionnaire we should decide the demographics that need to be surveyed. In another terms, it is also called the target audience for the survey. For our case of research and surveying the patrons the target audience would range from young people 18 years of age to older people of over 55 years of age including children, but for our requirements we are only going to survey respondents who are at least the age of 16 years or over.
• Next should be the decision on how the questionnaire is to be conducted. Of course in the case of Old station flying club, it is going to be completed onsite so there is not much room for discussion here and in a way this will prove to be a bit of less hassle for the research …show more content…
The question of anonymity must be addressed. It should be made certain that all the information that the respondents will provide in completing the questionnaire would be kept confidential and will not be published or used anywhere other than this research.
• Next step in designing a questionnaire would be to design a pilot survey or pilot study to test how well the questionnaire will do when it is actually in hands of mass number of patrons at the Old Station Flying Club. Because in our case, the patrons are going to be available only when the shows are on, market research team has to make sure that they do some pilot testing of the surveys among their team member who can correlate with different members of the target audience.
• Another guideline or suggestion while designing our questionnaire is to make sure that we have made an effort to let the patrons who are being surveyed know that they will receive tokens of appreciation when they are completing our surveys. The tokens can take any form of cash or kind and can help more patrons stick to the questionnaire faithfully and further motivate them to complete the survey
