The Definition of a Hero “Heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary” (Gerard Way). When you hear the word hero you probably think of names like Superman or Wonder women. A hero could be someone sitting right next to you. A hero could even be the garbage man. People who wear capes or protect aren’t always heroes, but everyday average people who overcome challenges, never quit and are brave are true heroes.
