( The emotions overcomes the bad things and that affects how women look weak. In fact, one of the paragraph in the story says “she did not stop to ask if it were or were not a monstrous joy that held her.” She finally realized that she was free from what she was trapped from and she got her head together. When a lover dies should be sad most of the time and be happy when you are thinking about the memories that you had together. But Louise did not do that she was happy that she did not think about anything else except her husband was dead and she has the opportunity to be free.
