Oral Roberts realised that nothing charged Jesus is still the same today and forever. Oral Roberts believed that the time to bring the personal word to him affirming it, then over a period of three months, Oral Roberts spent hours fasting and praying. He lost nearly thirty-two pounds during that time and often found himself praying for the strength to continue.

He heard the lord say “’From this hour you will heal the sick and cast out devils by my power”. One night, a blind man who had been brought to the meeting from Kansas City ran from the healing line shouting,” I can see, I can see”, the news travelled like an electric current through the crowd. From that night forward, the tent was filled, and Oral Roberts continued his healing messages in that tent for the next nine weeks.
