The orangutans were very fun to watch, each displayed so much personality and human-like behavior. The behavior I noticed the most were the orangutans playing, specifically with blankets. The female, Lucy, is well known for her love of her blanket, but I also observed the dominant male having a part in the play and using the blanket as a way to connect with Lucy as well as have some privacy from the many zoo spectators. The dominant male sat very close to the glass, and while he ate his bamboo, would put the blanket completely over his face so as not to be able to see us.
