Hello parents of future 7th graders, Have you considered having your child join orchestra? We have so many reason why you should. Orchestra is very beneficial for children. It’ll help them break out of their shell if they’re an introvert because we have over 200 students enrolled. They’re sure to find a great friend. We also have beginner classes for starting players up to a very advanced orchestra for returning players. In 7th grade, we have 3 concerts every year for them to prove to you how much they’ve learned. In past years, our orchestra’s have performed at the Virginia Music Educators Association Conference in November of 2013. We also performed on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center in 2014. It is proven that playing music can help grow their motor, mathematical, linguistic, creative, and novel content skills. This helps grow the corpus callosum which helps the brain get messages through faster. This is a great opportunity for students that can’t be missed. Thanks, Frost MS Orchestra
Hi 6th grade Orchestra, …show more content…
Don’t! We do all the thing of 6th grade orchestra but better! If you disliked the fact you only had orchestra once or twice a week in elementary school, don’t be worried. We have orchestra practice almost everyday. We have 4 orchestra’s too so you will always be in your skill group. We have 3 concerts every year so you can show off to your parents more often you’re going to wear great, oversized uniforms at the concerts! We have performed at the Kennedy Center in 2014. Of course we have amazingly fun trips to Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens and music universities and colleges. We have an outstanding (and very chill) orchestra director. You will have fun everyday if you sign up for
