Scientists claim that life formed from non-living matter. Scientists agreed that cells were created by molecules accidentally combining. After years of research, respected scientists concluded that all life evolved from these simple cells therefore, establishing the theory of evolution. Inevitably the theory of evolution had brought into question the creation account in the Bible. However, a disagreement rapidly arose in the religious community because; the Bible claims that all things were created. The true answer will be exposed by exploring the designs of the Earth, nature’s provisions, and the anatomy of the cell and human body will prove that all things in existence are too complex believe in chance. Earth’s features and position are perfect for sustaining life. Earth’s daily activities are important for sustaining life. Particularly the magnetic field and our atmosphere are intriguing features vital for sustaining life. The magnetic field is an invisible shield that protects us from cosmic radiation, solar flares, explosions that occur on the surface of the sun which can release deadly energetic particles. Without the protection of this invisible shield, all of the sun’s naturally deadly activities would burn the entire surface of the Earth and as a result, Earth would not be able to sustain any form of life. The Earth’s atmosphere is another remarkable feature made up of gases. The atmosphere’s outer layer, the stratosphere absorbs most of the incoming ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This helps keep all living things alive and it also prevents our oxygen producing plant life from dying. Even though these features perform remarkable tasks, it would be for nothing if Earth was not positioned perfectly among the other planets. The perfect tilt and spin of the Earth is significant in maintaining a balanced climate. The tilt and spin is what creates our season’s cycle, changes in temperature, and allows a range of climate zones. How remarkable it is to know that Earth’s activities can have a huge impact on life. This reasonable and complex evidence leads many to believe in creation. Ward and Brownlee (2000) stated, “Our planet’s tilt axis seems to be just right” (p. 224). Even scientists have admitted Earth is too perfect to rely on chance. Religious leaders claim they had the answers for thousands of years, what answers did they have? According to the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures Bible, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 1984). After this scripture, 25 other scriptures are recorded before the creation of man consequently, proving Earth’s existence before mankind was introduced to life. Humanity discovered the Earth was round in shape after a voyage made in 1492 by Christopher Columbus. Also that the Earth rests on empty space was confirmed hundreds of years later from space exploration. This information of the Earth’s anatomy was provided thousands of years earlier in the Bible. The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures Bible shares this information, “He is stretching out the north over the empty place, Hanging the earth upon nothing” and “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth” (Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, 1984). Modern technology or space travel was not available for early humans to produce this accurate information, so how did they acquire information about Earth’s design? Did early humans theorize just as scientists today do or were they told by the designer? Taking a closer look at life on Earth will help get closer to an answer. Is nature an accident or part of a design? The Bible gives credit to a designer, “For His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made” (Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, 1984).
