In the movie, Schindler's List, Oscar Schindler has some of the qualities to be a tragic hero, but also lacks some too. Schindler is known for being a rich and greedy German businessman. Schindler, a member of the nazi party, showed hubris(excessive pride) since he was a successful and rich business man. Since he was a member, he had power to get whatever he wanted. His hubris blinded him and made him think he was better than the Jewish people. This made him for the Jewish people to work for him a low wages. Schindler had some major flaws in his judgement, so made poor choices because of it. He took the jewish people and used them as a source of cheap labor for his new factory.
