The scenes and images in the movie that stood out the most were the vivid flashbacks of the murder and Matthew’s detailed execution. The murder scene and images were gruesome and the murderers were unmerciful. What I found intense and horrific was the murder scene were the movie showed Matthew’s friend (Carl Vitello) shooting the teens in the woods, the dead girl with many wounds to her body, the scene of the rape where the murderer kneeled between the girls legs while Walter witnessed his girlfriend being raped by both Matthew and Carl. This scene was awful it hit me the hardest as I thought these teens could’ve had a great life. Then I thought these types of gruesome murders really happen everyday.
