Intro: Roseto is a small town in Pennsylvania, the citizens there are all immigrants from a town in Italy with the same name. They live in a close community with all the other Rosetan people, what is special about them is their rate of heart diseases, it is very low under the age of 65. People also found that their crime, drugs addiction, alcoholism and suicide rates are all very low too, which means that their death is majorly due to age, it is due to natural deaths. However the Rosetan people are not physically healthy, they struggle with smoking and obesity, then how in the world are their hearts so healthy? And this number is not just simply a representation of the total hours of practice you have done throughout the years, it is the extreme number that indicates only your time of free practice in your own will with dedication and commitment. Their fighting even caused deaths. “When one family fights with another, it's a feud. When lots of families fight with one another in identical little towns up and down the same mountain range, it's a pattern” (Gladwell 166), this pattern is called “culture of honor”, a man in such culture is built by his family’s reputation. He fight for his and his family’s reputation, because it is a legacy of his family, the family ancestors lived off of such reputation. Though such legacy of the family existed years and years ago, it still has impact in their life resent, their family still see each other as foes, though they don’t really have any reasonable hatred recently. Just like how the Montague and Capulet family see each other as enemy in Romeo and Juliet, the hatred is only passed on by their family
