Kpop Invasion

Topic: Korean pop
General purpose: To inform…
Specific purpose: To inform about Kpop.
Central idea: To inform my colleagues about Kpop. Kpop is more than ‘Oppa Gangnam Style’ that many have come to know. From music, it branched out to the other forms of media that becomes a part of pop culture and that of the new generation.

Introduction
Attention-getter: Play ‘Run by Tiger JK ft. Baby-T & the Jungle. I wanted to play this for a different feel from the comedic Psy’s great works.
Credibility Material: Though I’m not Korean and I can tell why Kpop has attracted me and brought me to the larger world. I can tell you my exploration into the different music and culture

Global acknowledgment is greatly due to the ever growing, evolving technology. Social Networking Sites (SNS) also contribute to bring Kpop out of South Korea and into other countries of Thailand, Philippines, France, United States, etc.
a. Television brings much of the different news around the world which brought the Wave into the foreign markets.
b. YouTube contributes to popularizing many of Korean music, talk shows, variety shows, etc. and some provided with subtitles.
c. Twitter brings not just family and friends and strangers together but also the celebrities with their fans.
d. Google brings the information about each group, each individual with details made by the company the celebrity themselves and by the fans.
