Overcoming Obstacles In Homer's Odyssey

In the short story “Odyssey” the author begins to tell the story about the obstacles that Odysseus and his men had to overcome to get back home. On the journey there, Odysseus and his men bump into many altercations. On the way home Odysseus and his men arrived at the Cicones island, there Odysseus told his men to stay on the boat, instead his men did not listen and got off the boat, later on dying for the consequences. Their next stop was Circe Island, where a beautiful witch told the men to come inside to feast, they were told not to, but unfortunately went in with Circe and, later on, turned into pigs by the witch.
