This memorandum serves as a proposal and examination about a significant issue that have influenced the United States prison system. There is not one reason for the overcrowding within the prison system, but one has factored in all the reasons that can lead up to the cause of overcrowding. In order to find a solution to this tremendous issue, one must concentrate on prison reform an address every one of the reasons for overcrowded prison.
Because of criminal activities at an incomparable high, an expansion inside the prison population has incurred resulting in a financial burden within the system.
