As I continued to mature mentally over these past two years, I've noticed a some problems that a lot of young people like me experience. These problems get in the way of us doing what we want to do, what we should be doing. So many factors come into play that distract us from living meaningful lives, following our passions and dream career, and experiencing the moments that are happening right in front of us. I think it's important that kids like me, still in high school and learning how to tackle the real world, learn to overcome these problems.

It can drive us to do things we might not want to do, and stop us from doing the things we do want to do. Fear can kill dreams, but at the same time can push us to reach those dreams if we can just overcome it. Many of my friends are still teens. We're scared of a lot of things. We're scared of growing up, we're scared of being alone, we're scared of failure. Hell, I even know people who are fearful of their own potential for success to the point where it no longer exists. It irks me to see the people around me let fear grip their lives, For me personally, my biggest fear is living a life that is meaningless. My fear of a meaningless life supersedes all the other fears in my life. I can be old, alone, broke and unsuccessful, but if I were to live a meaningless life, I would never forgive myself. While fear is always going to creep into our lives, I think it's important that we use it as a driving force in our lives to do something meaningful every day. Fear can be our worst enemy, or our biggest ally. Trust in yourself and those around you, and try to live a life free from the negative grips of fear, while we're still young and
