P1: One of the reasons we deserve a second-afternoon recess is because of fidgeting. Kids fidget with their hands, shake their legs, or can’t focus, they even make toys to help them fidget, which is a good and bad thing. It’s good because sometimes it does help, but it’s bad because it doesn’t help them focus most of the time and just makes them distracted. It’s good because sometimes it does help, but it’s bad because it doesn’t help them focus most of the time and just makes them distracted. Kids fidget because of stress and anxiety thinking of late work or due work that soon, just like adults fidget as well. Take a walk in a working class quietly and respectfully just to see. A sign of cracking knuckles, bouncing their leg or shaking their leg nonstop or just playing with a toy or anything around them being distracted. That’s all because of “stress and anxiety” I know I said it’s because of homework, and you may be asking “If they are so stressed why don’t they finish it quickly or ask for help?” Well, to answer that most kids don’t ask for help, either they’re scared they’ll get yelled at or don’t want to help they want a quick break or snack. Most kids don’t realize that breakfast is very important and helps you with lots of things like focusing. A little recess break helps a lot as well, as it helps keep their mind back on
