(1) PMS Interview Summary: The PMS stated that his morale is a 10. He is on the downward slope to retire and does not regret his time in the Army. Loves what he does and plans to remain in Jackson and complete his PHD and apply to work at the University. The PMS continues to monitor the instruction quality of the Cadre. Mission Command has been great and the PMS was glad to see the CG give more responsibility and leverage for the PMS’s to make decisions and to teach in a manner more relevant to the PMS. There are a few TDY pay issues, the PMS and the HRA are aware and have already put in the required actions and are waiting on the results to come back from HQs. PMS stated that it is hard to train for CST because of the coordination struggle for weapons, the PMS believes that the CST Committee that teaches BRM does such a great job that it is okay if they do not get weapons training every semester.

This is due to the treatment from the PMS towards him as well as other Cadre and Cadets. Comments have been made towards the SMI that has made him feel that he is only there to pick up trash and follow orders. There is a lack of communication between the PMS and SMI, it is the PMS way or the highway. Due to this treatment, he feels that he is not important as the Senior Noncommissioned Officer at the program. He feels that the MSIVs are not being taught anything that will help them be better 2LTs; most the classes are over subjects that the PMS feels is important.
