Coming into this game, the two teams were on different sides of the win column. The

Both featured explosive offenses, but the defense was a concern for both teams. The game started off slow for the Packers going down 17-0 going into halftime. Matthew Stafford, the quarterback for the Lions, was hot in the first half. He went 11-16 for 99 yards and threw two touchdowns. He finished the game 23-35 for 210 yards. He threw his two touchdowns to Calvin Johnson and Eric Ebron. The Lions controlled the first half on both sides of the ball, offense and defense. The lead running back for the Lions, Ameer Abdullah, was explosive in the first half, getting most of his 67 yards rushing in the first half. The Packers offense started going and the defense started to shut down the Detroit offense. Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Packers, went off in the second half, finishing with a statline of 24-36 for 273 yards while also throwing two touchdowns and only one interception. His two touchdowns were to Davante Adams and Richard Rodgers. The game was close until the very end. As time expired, the Packers were down 20-23 on their own 39 yard line and Rodgers ended up scrambling around to keep the play alive. Rodgers heaved the ball to the endzone where his tight end, Richard Rodgers, caught it giving the Packers the victory over the Lions with a score of
