At Palace Home Health Care, employees must be mindful to follow and be well informed of the workplace policies. Our words, actions, and activities reflect not only ourselves but our agency.as well. Palace Home Health Care prides itself on our professional and winning environment. Therefore, our Staff is required to uphold an overall professional demeanor and sound character. Employees are responsible for ensuring that their behavior is in compliance with Palace Home Health Care’s Policies and Procedures. Palace Home Health Care is an at will employer and reserves the right for management to change the corrective action guidelines, policies, or procedures at any time.

• Retaliation of any kind against a coworker
• Conflict of interest: employees must disclose any conflict of interest, or situations which may appear as conflicts of interest such as working part time for a competitor, holding of any public office. In addition, any indirect interest such as immediate family that holds public office, works for competitors, or is involved in any situation which may appear as a conflict to Palace Home Health Care.
• Palace Home Health Care reserves the right monitor employee’s social media accounts. If an employee discloses they work for Palace Home Health care on their social media accounts, they are required to document a statement stating that their opinions are their own and solely their own, and do not represent the opinions of Palace Home Health Care. Any social media activity that Palace Home Health Care deems as unprofessional, of poor character, or detrimental to the image of the organization will result in disciplinary action.
• Use or possession of non-prescribed drugs, alcohol, and weapons on company

Fraudulent or false billing or upcoding for services rendered.
• For licensed staff: failure to submit notes for services rendered or false documentation.
• For non-managerial employees: changing or altering a licensed staff’s documentation without their consent. Managers have the right to add/edit documentation on an addendum for employees who are no longer employed.
• Failure for licensed staff to follow a physician’s order
• Failure for licensed staff to follow their governing boards policies, rules, and procedures

PROGRESSIVE DISCIPLINE STEPS
At Palace Home Health Care, we believe in guiding our employees with progressive discipline to assist them with meeting the standards of our organization. While, we generally follow progressive discipline, we reserve the right to alter or skip the process depending on the severity of employee’s offense.
There are three steps in disciplinary actions:
Verbal warning
Written warning/ Final Notice
Termination
